Promises From Psalms; Psalm 33:18

This week's Promise From Psalms:

Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; Psalm 33:18

Meditating on God's Promises From Psalm 33:18

His Eye Is On the Sparrow seemed an appropriate song to go with this verse.

I hope it's a comfort to anyone experiencing anxiety during these difficult days. If you don't know Jesus as Saviour, please reach out if you'd like to talk about how you can know the peace and comfort that comes from having a personal relationship with Him.

"Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;"

Another portion of scripture for believers to keep in mind is Philippians 4:6-8

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Join me again next week as I look at another promise from Psalms.
