The Garden of Ede'n...... Gerald

Not too many people can claim to live in the Garden of Ede'n......
Ede & Gerald, that is! This is my parents' garden. Most of the pictures featured here are from spring 2006, but there are a few from early last summer, 2007. I hope you enjoy the garden as much as our family does!
Spring and early summer pictures.

A yellow Lady Slipper growing wild in the yard.
The flowers are just beginning to fill out, and everything is a lovely shade of green,
as we look up the garden path toward the house.

A place to sit and rest for a while, and enjoy the view.

...and a home for little visitors

The scent of lilacs fills the air!

Beautiful shades of purple growing beside brilliant white lilacs.

Zooming in for a closer look!

Just a little glimpse to get us started!

Thanks for visiting the garden of Ede'n Gerald! I'll be adding more pictures, so come back soon!

  1. And its a beautiful garden indeed! I love this time of year, fresh with new beginnings.
Thanks for visiting and commenting at my blog. I LOVE comments! God bless as you endeavor to share with us about your life experiences here. Its always so exciting for me to "make new friends" while blogging!

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Lovely garden here. I do not have a green thumb!
Please come by and comment when ever!

  3. Thank you both for stopping by! It's always nice to have people visit our garden...especially when I'm seeing snow outside my window. Yes, snow in May....only in Manitoba, eh?

  4. Beautiful! I am a relatively new gardener, but loving it! I have some of my photos on my blog as well, but we're nowhere near Manitoba!

  5. Who does all the work to maintain these Deb?

  6. Jamie...I plan to have other links besides Manitoba...I'll come and visit you!

Deby..up until last year it was mostly Mom & Dad, but last summer Dad was in hospital alot, and had heart surgery in August, so my brothers & their wives did alot to help out, and some of my nephews mowed the grass. It took alot of people to do what Mom & Dad do! LOL
This year, I don't have a houseful of kids, so hopefully I can help out more...they're about 45 minutes away. Dad is getting better every day, but still doesn't have the strength and the energy he used to have.

Thank you for visiting Living Our Lives Well (LOL WELL)
We hope we've been a help and encouragement to you.
