Promises from Psalms; Psalm 37:3-6

It's hard to pick favourites from Psalms, but I do love Psalm 37!

Meditating on God's Promises from Psalm 37:3-6

It wasn't difficult to choose a song this week.

Years ago, these were also some of  my oldest daughter's favourite verses, so I wrote them into a song...along with a few other scriptures:

Psalm 37:1,3-7a Fret not thyself because of evil doers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:

Song Of Solomon 2:11,12a For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come,

Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusteth in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Isaiah 63:7a I will mention the loving-kindnesses of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed on us,
